Welcome to Magic Valley Youth Orchestra where we are committed to offering a rich musical experience to young musicians throughout the Magic Valley. We offer a progressive orchestral opportunity with the flexibility of three string ensembles and a full orchestra to augment the musicianship of talented youth in elementary school through high school. 

 

Young musicians are invited to join us for two sessions each school year. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 5:00 to 6:45. Our Fall Session begins mid-September and meets every Tuesday evening concluding with our Fall Concert in mid November. Our Winter Session typically begins early January and concludes with our Winter Concert in early March. Please check our calendar and dates below.​

Placement auditions are essential to aid our conductors in forming the ensembles that will be offered each session. All string players may sign up for placement auditions by selecting the audition button below.

Winds, brass and percussion musicians will be placed during group rehearsal on registration day of each session.
